RHINO Sound Shield Acoustic Noise Barriers
RHINO Sound Shield acoustic noise barriers provide a portable solution for controlling construction, machinery, industrial, and event noise. Designed for quick installation on temporary fencing and other supporting structures, these acoustic panels can be used to create temporary sound walls around noisy work areas, equipment, construction sites, factories, and outdoor events.
The RHINO Sound Shield uses a durable vinyl-coated construction with internal sound-blocking material. Commercial-grade grommets along all four sides make installation straightforward, while hook-and-loop connections allow multiple panels to be joined together to create larger noise-control enclosures or continuous acoustic barriers.
RHINO Sound Shield panels are designed to be portable. They can be folded for transportation and storage and require no permanent installation.
The RSS5295G2 model has a manufacturer-supplied laboratory result of STC 18. The January 12, 2026 test reports transmission loss reaching 46 dB at 5,000 Hz. This is a frequency-specific laboratory measurement, not a guaranteed jobsite noise reduction. These test results are not assigned to the 8' × 12' version.
Common Applications
- Construction-site perimeter noise control
- Temporary fence sound barriers
- Heavy equipment and machinery enclosures
- Factories and manufacturing facilities
- Generators, compressors, pumps, and other equipment
- Outdoor events and entertainment venues
- Commercial and industrial projects
- Temporary work zones requiring noise mitigation
Available in 8' × 4' and 8' × 12' configurations. Actual noise reduction depends on sound frequency, barrier coverage, installation, gaps, distance, and surrounding conditions. Temporary fencing is sold separately.
