Temporary Construction Fencing FAQ

How Many Fence Legs (tube Stands) & Couplers Do I Need?

Fence legs (common source of confusion)

  • Straight line setup:
If you order 12 fence panels in one continuous line, you need 13 fence legs
→ one leg per panel plus one extra leg at the end.

  • Multiple lines:
If those 12 panels are split into two lines of 6, you need 14 fence legs
    → 7 legs per line × 2 lines.

Couplers (panel connectors)

Bottom tube stands connect the fence panels at the base.
For the middle or top connection, most customers use 1 coupler per panel joint.
For extra rigidity, some customers use 2 couplers per joint.

Is there equipment required to unload the Temporary Construction Fencing?

Most customers use a forklift to unload, but you can also unload it manually. Fencing panels come in 32 or 12 piece bundles, you would have cut the straps and then hand it to your coworker on the ground one by one.

Can you add a branded plate for us?

At this time we can add free branding (branded plate 11.4 x 3.9 inches double-sided) for orders of 200 fence panels or more.
