Ordering & Shipping Information
Sold as an individual post. Couplers (ANTCORE-CLAMP) are required for installation and sold separately: 4 per post.
Product Description
Lock your temporary fence line into the ground. The ANTCORE-POST8 8' In-Ground Post is driven 2' into the soil, leaving 6' above grade to line up with 6' temporary chain link fence panels. Use it as a driven line post between panels, or add it mid-panel as a wind brace on exposed, screened, or long-term job sites.
How It Works
- Mark your line. Set out your ANTCORE-600 panels where the fence will run.
- Drive the post. Drive the post 2' into the ground with a manual or powered post driver. That leaves 6' above grade, the same height as a 6' panel.
- Attach the panels. Clamp the panel frames to the post with 4 ANTCORE-CLAMP couplers.
- Check the line. Make sure the panels are plumb and the couplers are tight before you hang privacy screen or signs.
Wind Bracing: The Most Common Use
Privacy screen and banners turn a fence line into a sail. To stiffen a run, drive one post at every second panel, at the middle of the panel, and clamp it to the panel's vertical support tube with couplers. The post adds a fixed anchor point in the ground along the fence line. This is how most of our customers use it: as extra stability for screened or windy sites.
