Plasticade Hydrocade Model Numbers

Plasticade builds the Hydrocade in two standard colors and three sheeting choices. Each combination has its own Plasticade part number, so you can match a purchase order, bid spec or replacement exactly.

  • HYD-O-KIT – Plasticade Hydrocade water-filled barricade, Orange, no sheeting
  • HYD-O-EGLR-KIT – Plasticade Hydrocade water-filled barricade, Orange, Engineer Grade striped sheeting
  • HYD-O-HIPLR-KIT – Plasticade Hydrocade water-filled barricade, Orange, High-Intensity Prismatic striped sheeting
  • HYD-W-KIT – Plasticade Hydrocade water-filled barricade, White, no sheeting
  • HYD-W-EGLR-KIT – Plasticade Hydrocade water-filled barricade, White, Engineer Grade striped sheeting
  • HYD-W-HIPLR-KIT – Plasticade Hydrocade water-filled barricade, White, High-Intensity Prismatic striped sheeting

How the Model Numbers Work

  • HYD-O / HYD-W: orange or white barricade body.
  • -KIT: no reflective sheeting.
  • -EGLR-KIT: Engineer Grade retroreflective striped sheeting.
  • -HIPLR-KIT: High-Intensity Prismatic grade retroreflective striped sheeting.

Sheeting is applied to the 44" x 8" areas on both sides of the barricade.

Same Barricade, Every Model

All six models share the same Hydrocade body: 79" L x 17.5" W x 32" H with a 72" connected length and an 8" top width, 67 lbs empty and 745 lbs deployed with 81 gallons of water. Hydrocade is crash tested for TL-3 MASH acceptance (submitted to FHWA) and meets MUTCD standards.
